Biography
Kenden Mustaqiim Dean is a multi-talented singer/songwriter, producer, author, and educator. For 3 decades KM Dean has tried hard to use his talent to spread goodness, educate the youth, and elevate humanity. "I believe every song that comes to me is a precious gem that drops from heaven. It is my responsibility to polish it up and share it with the people to make their lives better."
KM realized early on that a catchy song is a powerful tool that can be used to help or harm humanity. He did not want to write songs to pollute the hearts and corrupt the minds of listeners. He made a decision in 1993 to leave his "big chance" with the music business to become an independent artist and producer. Since then, KM Dean has been writing

This internet radio and podcast gives him a place to use his songwriting and entertainment skills without compromising his deep commitment to benefit the listener. Year Rights Back Story
Kent and Kris were two brothers who grew up influenced by their musician father, multi-talented mother and two oldests brothers of the amazing band TMTS. They teamed up to write and produce songs for Kris and 2 other young artist. Kent tried to escape the music bug by studying medicine but realized you cannot fight what is in your blood.

Kent and Kris teamed up with their older brothers to form a group. Demo was produced and Syndicated Rhythm Prod. were interested in production deal. Kent decided to pull out of the group. He realized that under contract he would be forced to write songs and do performances that would be in conflict with his newly found faith and family.

After leaving the deal in LA Kent Cloud changed his name to Mustaqiim Sahir (one who is awake on the straight path) and started writing Islamic Songs.
He sang at a convention and was discovered by a Turkish official who connected him to a record company in Istanbul. He moved there with wife and 3 kids to record Upright Song. His song and video This is Islam got a letter of appreciation from then President Clinton.

Asir Ajans commissioned a CD for adults (Upright Song) and one for kids (Muslim Kids Songs). To overcome the objections that some Muslims had for the use of musical Instruments, Mustaqiim imitated the sound of instruments with is voice. He also imitated the sound of children's voices for this CD.

With lack of support from the Muslim community and mounting Islamophobia, he changed his name again to Kenden Dean. He didn't want to go back to his birth name, but wanted a name that had some Islamic meaning to it. He chose the last name Dean (the way of life of a Muslim). He started a production company Dean Pop, Inc. and a pop rock group with his best friend from high school to promote positive message music. The CD was called Brighter Day.
